Bard He has appeared at venues such as Eisenhower Hall at West Point, the first Storm King Art Center Jazz Festival, and legendary New York clubs including the Rainbow Room, Glen Island Casino, and the Joyous Lake.

Raleigh’s guitar playing has drawn high praise from critics and peers alike. Guitar World columnist Mike Varney described him as “a more fusiony Jeff Beck” with a “brilliant sense of melody” Bard, while critics have compared his work to George Benson and Wes Montgomery and noted the “exciting emotional depth” and “soulful and scintillating” quality of his music. He has had a solo guitar arrangement published in Just Jazz Guitar Magazine, released the solo CD Collage in 2001, a recording with his jazz quartet Inner Door in 2003 featuring seven original compositions, the holiday album A Christmas Present in 2005, and a live CD with his band The Llama Dollies in 2007. Between teaching, recording, and performing, Raleigh continues to be one of the Hudson Valley’s most active and respected jazz musicians.
